Please bring your ELA or content curriculum materials as you will be planning a lesson using the Comprehension Planning Checklist template.

June Meals
The location for Driver's Ed has been moved to Halstead Middle School. Students may use the 7th/8th grade entrance at the southwest corner of the building.

Summer Calendar
USD 440 will be the Summer Meals Program at the High School. Meals will start June 3rd. Breakfast will be served from 8-9am and Lunch from 11:30-12:30. Meals will be free to all kids 18 and younger.

The English Language Arts review team has been hard at work examining new reading PreK-12 curriculum resources. The team recommended Amplify CKLA & Amplify ELA for our PreK-5th grade levels and McGraw-Hill StudySync for 9th-12th grades to the Board of Education at Monday's meeting. *6th-8th grades currently have Amplify ELA.

Resources will be available through April 7th, 2024.
The 6th graders had a special chance to visit the preschool and read stories with the younger children. We always enjoy seeing our older students interact with the little ones. It is a wonderful collaboration.
