HHS WINTER HOMECOMING
Congratulation to the following individuals for being nominated as the Winter Homecoming Candidates:
King- Thomas Burns, Adler Davison and Canyon Fletcher
Queen- Leia Cubbage, Riley Jones and Evyn Moore
The homecoming coronation will take place Friday, February 10th before the start of the Varsity Boys basketball game.
This past weekend 10 athletes went to Wellington to compete in powerlifting. With only taking those 10 guys, we placed 6th out of 18 teams that attended.
Brock Odendahl got 2nd place overall in 148lb Jr. Mens division.
Adler Davison got the best clean in the 198lb Men's division.
Owen Farmer got the best clean and placed 2nd overall in the 140lb Men's division.
Brayden Logan got the best clean and placed 2nd overall in the 173lb Men's division.
Holden Davis got the best bench, best clean, and placed 2nd overall in the 181lb Men's division.
Other athletes that went were Aaron Caldwell, Aden Armstrong, Brady Hill, Keenan McCune, and Zain Maknojia. Even though these guys did not place they set some PR's, learned for the next meet, and had a blast doing it. Next meet is March 11th at Conway Springs.

HMS has added a competition date to the schedule. The HMS girls will compete on February 14th at Newton. Wrestling begins at 4:30.
