BIG BLUE NIGHT Updated Schedule
For the safety of all outdoor activity participants, the Big Blue Night schedule has been slightly modified. Per KSHSAA policy, if it is too hot outside and we are forced to cancel outdoor activities, we will recognize each of those programs in the HHS gym at their respective times. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation!

REMINDER: Tomorrow is the Back to School Blast! 12-8pm at the Halstead High School. There will be Free Health Physicals 1:30-4pm by Health Ministries. Also once you complete you Back to School Blast Checklist you will receive your official Halstead Merch. (while supplies last)
A HUGE Thank You to our Food Service department for the Summer Meals Program. During the months of June and July we fed over $4,000 FREE meals. This program is vital for our students. Children frequently lose access to consistent, nourishing school meals when the school year ends. The Summer Meals Program makes sure more kids have access to sufficient nutrition for a healthy, active life.
BACK TO SCHOOL BLAST is August 1st 12-8pm. Visit booths for information and enrollment. Other community partner booths will be there as well such as Halstead Old Settlers, Health Ministries, Parents as Teachers, STAND, Voter Registration, Halstead Rec and more. Get your official Dragon Merch for those who complete Back to School Blast checklist (while supplies last)

Free Summer Meals starting June 5
Good afternoon parents of preschoolers, if you have not filled out a new student enrollment form on Skyward please do so, that way we can have a spot available for your student. Even if you filled one our last year but did not send your student we will need a new one filled out. The link is down below. If you have already done so please disregard. Parent Meeting for next school year Kindergarten parents is May 11, 2023 6:30-7:30pm in the BPS Library.
Happy May to all the USD440 Dragons! Field Day is just around the corner and we NEED volunteers to make this day a success for our students!
Please go to the provided link and find an activity area that you think would work for you. We need helpers in the morning for our Kindergarten and 1st Grade students from 8:15-11:00 and also in the afternoon for our 2nd and 3rd graders from 12:15-3:00. If you want to do one activity in the morning and a different one in the afternoon, that's okay too. We do not have child care available and some activities are not safe for younger kids, so please make appropriate accommodations.
